Trees ready for public decorating at the Storefronts and Sidewalks in Excelsior
The Giving Tree Project places fully decorated Christmas Trees in the homes of local families hit with hard times. We need your decoration donations to make it possible.
DECORATIONS
New, handmade, or ornaments and tree trimmings with previous tree experience are accepted.
DECORATING A TREE
Scouts Troops, Civic Groups, Organizations, Neighborhoods, Explorers, Classrooms, Friends, and Family Groups can pick the tree of their choice to decorate or place an ornament or two on them all. These tiny 3 to 5 foot trees stand outside and are exposed to the elements, the ornaments or cards should be placed in sealed plastic bags. Tree stands, large ornaments, and tree trimming donations can be dropped off at Gary’s First Class Car Care, 366 Highway 7, or Excelsior Fire Station #1, 24100 Smithtown Road, Shorewood
